Extraferm® consists 100 % of highly adsorbant and odorless yeast hulls.
It improves fermentation conditions by removing toxic compounds from must and wine, such as fatty acids, ochratoxin (OTA) and dibutyl phtalate. By adsorbing wine contaminants such as anisoles (TCA, TBA, PCA, TeCA etc.), Extraferm binds unpleasant smells and tastes, thereby restoring wine quality. Recommended dosage: 20 to 40 g/hl.
